Well first apologies for the silence, it's been crazy busy for many reasons, lots of workshops, house guests, kids' stuff, work stuff and goodness knows what else, there just aren't enough hours in the day at the moment. So I won't drown you in piles of paper cuts and patchwork in one hit, I will eek it out over a few posts.
I ran two paper cutting courses at Ardington School of Craft, theoretically they were Christmas themed but there were plenty of original alternatives designed and cut.
And I will say it again, I am always amazed at what students achieve in a day, how much they learn and what they leave with - very gratifying. Here are the results from the first session.

Christmas cuts....already!!!
Yesterday saw the first of several Christmas themed paper cutting work shops. I was at Denman College with ten lovely ladies, all paper cut novices and we had a great time. Snowmen, mangers, festive sentiments, they all featured! I was delighted with the results, I can never predict quite what will come out of these workshops as I encourage everyone to have a go at getting super creative, and they do.
Such fun!
Such fun!
