This week I was invited by Art in Action to demonstrate paper cutting as part of a design symposium to be held at the wonderful Natural History Museum in Oxford - one of my favourite museums - the building itself is a glorious celebration of British flora and fauna, a soaring cathedral of cast iron and glass; and the exhibits are truly wonderful.
My table was within a scalpel's cut of one of their most popular exhibits, the T Rex and I was able to watch families and friends take numerous selfies and photos with heads and hands in the jaws of said dinosaur - must be a project there some where?
It was a busy afternoon and visitors came from far and wide as well as local - China, Bulgaria, America, Italy and France included - and they were keen to ask questions about paper cutting and happy to watch the process - hopefully some of them will visit Art in Action and sign up for a course.
